2026/2027 Rates, Registration & Payment Instructions

PanAm Pool requires a renewal project to keep it operational for years to come. The project is part of a multi-year plan to upgrade City of Winnipeg aquatic facilities. It is planned to start in January 2027 and will require closure of the Main Tank for approximately 16 months. The facility will be closed to the public during the renovation. Clubs associated with Swim Manitoba (including MMAC) will maintain access to the Training Tank; however, some groups will be moved from the Main Tank to the Training Tank, competing for the limited space.

The posted swim fees will only cover the period of September - December 2026. The January-August 2027 fees will be collected when we have a confirmed schedule for that period; and fees may be adjusted accordingly.

MMAC Registration Fees:

Registration fees are a one-time payment based on the start month and the number of practices per week. They include full year membership fees with Swim Canada and Swim Manitoba. These are not monthly payments

There is a slight increase in fees this year due to increased pool costs. Members, who volunteered a minimum of two volunteer shifts in 2025/2026 will continue to pay the same rates as 2025/2026:

Before Registering

MMAC is not a learn to swim program.

If you are considering joining MMAC, please consider the following criteria for membership:

Must be 18 years and older.
Must be able to swim 200 M front crawl unassisted with no floatation devices.

Be able to swim breast stroke and back stroke. The ability to swim butterfly is helpful as workouts include this stroke.

Steps to register:

Step 1. If you are new to MMAC, you must complete this Waiver and submit it to mmacswim@gmail.com.

Step 2. Complete the Online Registration Form - 2026/2027 Swim year

Step 3. Payment

Note: Your registration is not complete until the eTransfer process is submitted. Please submit both at the same time.

Access your personal online banking and select e-Transfer to paymmac@googlegroups.com
MMAC has automatic deposits of e-transfers. Passwords are not required.
If your bank has a place to include a note, please include: First and Last name, start month and times per week.
Refunds are only provided under extenuating circumstances. Please contact the Registrar at mmacswim@gmail.com to discuss further.

Step 4: After your registration is processed by MMAC, you’ll receive an email from ManitobaMastersAquaticClub@sportlomo.com with instructions on how to complete the Swim Canada registration. This must be done within 14 days of starting swimming.

Trial Swimming with MMAC

Want to see what MMAC is all about? You can come and try swimming with us two times without full payment and registration. Trial swims are available at the following times: Monday and Friday 8-9am, Sunday 9:15-10:45am.

Note, you will have to pay PanAm Pool public attendance fee at the front desk.

Financial Assistance

Our Club has access to a small privately donated fund to be used for members who require financial assistance. The swimmer will have to email mmacswim@gmail.com explaining his/her/their situation and asking to pay his/her/their fees at a 25 per cent discount. The registrar will confirm if the application is approved.

Please Note:

From time to time pictures may be taken at club events, practice or during swim meets for use on our website, Facebook page, or other material for the promotion of MMAC. If you do not wish to have your photo used by MMAC please speak to the coach or board member at the time and we will ensure your photo and name are not included.
To notify you about last minute cancellations the Registrar will add you to the mmac_auto_notification Google group. In some cases Google will send you an invitation; you will need to accept it for joining the group. You can unsubscribe any time by using the link at the bottom of notification e-mails.
