The
Million Metre Challenge is a Masters Swimming Canada program in which Masters swimmers from across Canada can use the Internet to easily log their workout meters and keep track of their cumulative distance. The goal is to provide a fun way to promote swimming for health and fitness.
All MMAC swimmers are encouraged to register. It's free and simple to do. It only takes a couple of minutes, and needs to be done only once.
Once you have registered, you can easily log your meters. The program keeps track of each swimmer's individual distances and also calculates a cumulative total for each Masters club in Canada. For triathletes or those who are cross-training the program will even track your running and cycling workouts!
Sign up now, and add your meters to help MMAC meet the Million Metre Challenge. MMAC consistently places in the top five clubs in Canada in the national standings. Log your meters and ensure that MMAC stays up in the standings. Over 50 MMAC members are already registered, but with more participants we will be able to reach that Million Meter mark that much faster! Just take a look at what your lane mates have already accomplished.
If you need more details on the program, they are available here in pdf format.
Want to see what MMAC is all about? Come and join us for a week of free swimming. During that one week period you are invited to swim as many practices as you like. We'd be pleased to meet you and show you what a difference swimming can make in your life.
